Anna Mae Oelkers turned 80 on May 17, 2013. Her children threw her a party! What I remember most about that day was the steady stream of people who clearly love this sweet woman. This is a picture of her and her children. From left to right: Paul Oelkers, Anna Oelkers, Monterey (Monte) Oelkers, Anna Mae Oelkers (the birthday girl!) Linda Oelkers, Scott Oelkers. Not pictured is William (Bill) Oelkers who had passed on but I'm sure he was there. I had a wonderful time visiting with old friends and meeting people that have been a part of the Oelkers family's lives for so many years.
My favorite part was the talent show!
